Since I arrived one day
before of my training, I had Saturday free.
I met two girls, Fede and Kumi,
Italian and Japanese girls who are doing internship with Grameen Bank.
A woman from the hotel
called Shama took us out to shopping since the girls wanted to buy traditional
clothes. I ended up buying as well.
Later we took our first
Rickshaw and went to have dinner. Shama also invited us to her aunt’s house, who
warmly received us with ice cream, cold water and a snack called shingara (similar to samosa but filled
with potatoes), confirming the great Bangladeshi hospitability.
